Webinar Description
Children with ADHD as well as those who exhibit disruptive behaviors need clear expectations plus consistent rewards and consequences to keep them moving in the right direction. This is exactly what a Daily Report Card (DRC) provides when used correctly at school and home. Research continually demonstrates that behavioral treatments, especially DRC’s are very effective for children with ADHD and Disruptive Behavior. This webinar will provide the nuts and bolts of constructing and implementing a DRC.
A DRC serves as a means of identifying, monitoring, and changing the child’s classroom behavior. In addition, it is a simple way for parents and teachers to regularly communicate. DRCs are very motivating for children, especially if parents have selected the right rewards to give the child at home for reaching his goals. DRC’s are used in the context of other behavioral components including clear instructions, praise, and targeted rules.
