Children don’t ask to be born (or adopted) into a divorcing family. And, they often carry the brunt of the
changes. They may have to move, change schools, deal with the loss of a parent or the addition of other
parenting partners. Despite all this, the children of divorce still need to grow up in adaptive ways. This
class will help the clinician identify how a child is doing. The clinician will also learn how to help a parent
provide what their child needs, and learn the early warning symptoms that something may be wrong.
Learning Objectives:
